How It Works

Need Help?

If your family is struggling to put food on the table, you are not alone — and asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. Hearts, Hands, and Hope exists because families like yours deserve support, without judgment.

Who Qualifies

To be eligible for our Food Bag Program, your family must meet the following:

  • You are a resident of Seminole County, Florida
  • You have a child (or children) enrolled in Seminole County Public Schools
  • Your child is approved for Free and Reduced Lunch through the State of Florida

How it Works

  1. Complete the form below. Tell us about your family and your child’s school.
  2. We review your request. Our team verifies eligibility, often in coordination with your child’s school — this step can take a little longer if we’re waiting to hear back from the school directly.
  3. You’ll hear back from us within 72 hours. If approved, we’ll connect you with your nearest food bag distribution site and get you started as soon as possible.
